| R&B Hair Shop. After trading on eBay succesfully for the last two years David wanted to branch out and sell directly online. We chose a photo from istock for the front page and the new logo and site colours were picked up from that. I used a free, open source product, Zen Cart to build the functionality of the shop, as it is extremely robust and has advanced functionality, including the ability to send newsletters, create sales, gift vouchers and discount coupons. Matching postcards were created with a 10% discount for David to send to his eBay customers, to help promote his new site. |
 |
| |
| Amyethst Communications. Although only one page, this website sums up Jo very well. She wanted a one page website, that didn't look like a website. So we went for a Newspaper/Magazine feel. Jo has a passion for purple and the two main photographs have been tinted to match the colour scheme of the page. |

| |
| Vivien Groves. This small site was coded in XHTML rather than php so that Viv could update her website herself with the HTML editor that came with her hosting. A content editible site for a fraction of the normal cost. Complementary leaflets were also designed for Viv's new business. |
 |
| |
| Karin van der Plas. This is a content editible website built using an open source product called Joomla. The entire site, including the menus, is completely content editible giving Karin the freedom to build her site as she wants it. Karin wanted music on her website so the frame at the bottom contains a Flash controller to turn the music on and off. |
 |
| |
| Organi Associates. This site is for a local health and social care consultancy. Rather than a photo driven site, Trevor wanted a Flash header for the site with pictures of him and Heather. The site was designed to be simple, elegant and professional, in keeping with their business image and business cards and logo. |
 |
| |
| Organi Nutrition. This site is for a nutritional therapist who wanted a light, airy site that show cases the value of her services. This website is currently unavailable as Heather is working on other projects. |
 |
| |
| Vitual Office Management Services. This site is for a multi-lingual virtual office management company based in Devon. The project was completed with the input of a marketing consultant from London to give Lea
a high profile, dynamic new website. The News column is content editable via an online form and when it is completed the flags at the top of the page will load the welcome page in different languages. This project has also included matching business
cards and bookmarks. |
 |
| |
| Localwomen4women. This site is for a charity event day in November 2008, it's a relatively straightforward XHTML web site, which is W3C compliant. All of the
registration is done online, and the form emails the customer with confirmation and details of how to pay and the event organiser with the customer details. |
 |
| |
| Simply Vu. This site was a collaborative effort with Trio (see below) I created the design and helped with the CSS. The image
on the front page changes every time the page is loaded. |
 |
| |
| R and B Hair Salon. This site has been developed over the last couple of ears and David is looking at expanding
the site to include a web cam view over Torquay harbour. We've also been playing with different techniques such as the view of the clock tower - I built a
Flash clock into the photograph as a bit of fun. |
 |
| |
| Palm Villa Orlando. This site was developed to show case this florida holiday villa I would have liked to
have done a PHP calendar, but given how small the budget was we compromised on the Word file which they update themselves
and ftp to their site. |
 |
| Westcountry Land Surveys. This is a simple site for a local survey company, one point of interest is the drop-down
on the contact form to pick who you want to send an email to. |
 |
| |
| Trio I created the logos and all the web sites under the Trio banner including all the client
and demo sites under Trio Design. |
